Initiated in 2008, the International Vienna Energy and Climate Forum unites the global energy and climate community to showcase innovative solutions to accelerate low-emission, climate-resilient development around the world.
Guided by the motto “Progress by Innovation”, the Energy and Climate Forum will gather the international energy and climate community on 2 and 3 November 2023 at the Hofburg Conference Centre in Vienna, Austria and discuss sustainable solutions and address challenges in energy, construction, agriculture, industry, and infrastructure.
The GOGLA team will be present at the event and will be part of the panel for the sessions:
- Convergences: Building Sustainable Food Systems via Productive Use of Renewable Energy Solutions, led by guest speaker Carlos Sordo, Senior Project Manager Productive Use on November 3, 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm.
- The Role of Demand-Side Subsidies in Ensuring a Just Energy Sector Transformation: Scalable Solutions for Accelerating Universal Energy Access Beyond the Grid, led by guest speaker Patrick Tonui, Head of Policy and Regional Strategy on November 3, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm.
